We’ll either extend fringes from the foundation of the rug or we’ll replace a worn fringe with one that is secure and long-lasting. You may keep the current fringe style of your rug or select your own fringe from various styles.

Edges are often the first area of a rug to show wear. Depending on the level of deterioration, we can repair a bind or replace one…in such a way that it looks like “it’s always been there.”

Here, the goal is to gently restore your rug to maintain its original look while keeping the fullness and richness it once had. Each knot is meticulously formed and re-tied to form a row and then each row will be tightened and carefully built upon the prior row.

This is the careful sewing of the two side edges of a rug to firmly support it end to end and will also prevent unraveling of fringes which is a common problem.
